  1. The way that the husband treated the old man selling the lion carving with disrespect. He made him ran for the money and ended him paying him one and six. He doesn't care about the people and she does. She's all for making things right.

  3. The story "The Train form Rhodesia" was mainly concerning a conflict between a couple traveling. The husband was so sure that by buying the lion was gonna make his wife happy that he didnt see how he acted all along. The wife saw this and didnt tolerated.
The wife saw such great art when she first seen the lion. She saw how much work the man that was selling it put in. It had such great detail and the wife was swept awya by it's beauty. The husband thought it was a good idea if he would buy it for her and surprise her.
When the husband bought her the lion he was sure that she was gonna love it. But to his surprise she was very much upset. She was upset due to the cause that he didnt take in cosideration the art and all that hard work that was put in it.
The wife thought that that much work was worth so much more than what the husband paid for. And the worse part about it was that the husband made the sell's man run after the train. The the wife didnt like that very much.
I believe the husband was very much settled in making his wife happy that he forgot how to value other's people work. I believe that the husband regret acting how he did.

  4. In "The Train from Rhodesia" the cause of the conflict between the young husband and wife was the wooden lion. The husband didnt agree that the little lion piece was worth Three and Six, while on the other hand the wife believed the that the lion was bulit very well and that the man's harship was not worth only One and Six. The husband was only trying to make a bargain with the man and get the lion for less money to give to his wife as a gift. The wife looked past the price and thought about how much work the man had put to into the lion and its detail. Although the husband was only trying to make his wife happy by buying her the lion, she didnt appreciate that he payed so little for the lion.
